Hermes Google Workspace Connector

A private, single-user integration for the Hermes Agent.

What this is

This application is a personal-use connector that allows the Hermes Agent — a self-hosted AI assistant running on its owner's own computer — to work with that same owner's Google Workspace data on his behalf.

There is exactly one user: the owner of the Google Account that grants access. The application is not distributed, not offered as a service, and not available to the public. It exists so the owner can ask his own assistant to read his own email, check his own calendar, and manage his own files.

What it can do

• Read, search, and send email in the owner's Gmail account
• Read and create events on the owner's Google Calendar
• Read, upload, organize, and share files in the owner's Google Drive
• Read and write the owner's Google Sheets and Google Docs
• Read the owner's Google Contacts

What it does not do

• It does not collect data from anyone other than its single owner
• It does not sell, rent, or share data with any third party
• It does not use Google user data for advertising or profiling
• It does not transmit data to any server other than Google's own APIs and the language model provider the owner has configured

How it works

The connector runs locally on the owner's machine using Google's official OAuth 2.0 flow. Access is granted through the standard Google consent screen, can be revoked by the owner at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, and is limited to the specific scopes the owner approves.
